Resumo

The intensive and continuous use of inorganic fertilizers entails high economic costs and adverse environmental impacts. Given this scenario, the application of rock dust and vinasse to crops such as corn, soybeans, and sugarcane emerges as a promising alternative, as it optimizes nutrient-use efficiency and boosts both yield components and agricultural productivity. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the yield and analyze the economic viability of maize, soybean, and sugarcane crop fertigated with a fertilizer based on rock dust and vinasse. The experimental design used was a randomized block design with four treatments and five replications. The treatment consisted of four fertigation doses with fertilizer based on rock dust and vinasse (0, 100, 200, and 300 m3 ha-1) in the maize, soybean, and sugarcane crop. The variety used was BM855 PRO2 (maize), TMG C2379 IPRO (soybean) and CTC9003BT (sugarcane). The crop yield was evaluated. The organization of costs followed an adjusted operating cost methodology, specifically the effective operating cost and total operating cost. The economic indicators evaluated were net present value, internal rate of return, minimum attractive rate of return, payback period, discounted payback period and benefit/cost ratio. The application of fertilizer based on rock dust and vinasse to corn, soybean, and sugarcane crops in the Cerrado region is economically viable, as the economic indicators used are positive in all scenarios.
